River Oaks is a ten-bed community based program providing residential services and developmental functional life skills training for adolescent girls. The primary goal of this program is to provide more exposure to and involvement in the community, and a less restrictive alternative with the goal of assisting the children in achieving more independent living. The girls at River Oaks will continue to attend school on the Lafayette main campus.

River Oaks is located in a beautiful residential neighborhood near local schools and businesses, in the City of Lafayette. It's physical layout is ideally suited to provide group home living for the girls in our care.

The River Oaks program is staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year by trained, caring and qualified Youth Care staff. Residents receive individual, group and family therapies along with year-round educational and/or vocational programming. Specialized treatment planning to address individual needs for residents is an integral part of the total treatment program.
