When it comes to the health of our clients, IDTC is committed to providing the best health care available. Staffed by Registered Nurses, LPNs, and Infirmary Aides, IDTC’s Health Services Department takes pride in meeting the medical needs of our residents. Weekly visits by a physician, and the coordination of routine and specialized appointments by utilizing community medical providers complement the Health Services Department. Psychiatric and psychological services are provided by psychiatrists and psychologists. At IDTC, medical staff is on call 24-hours a day.
A variety of high quality hospital services are located within close proximity to both of IDTC’s campuses including Riley Children’s Hospital and St. Vincent’s Hospital in Indianapolis, and St. Elizabeth’s and Home Hospital in Lafayette.
