Summer Fun Day

On June 5, 2009, IDTC hosted our annual Summer Fun Day. This year, the committee decided to create a carnival themed day for the residents and families to participate in. Included in Summer Fun Day was a cookout with hot dogs, hamburgers, brats, potato salad, baked beans, watermelon, and chips. All of the courtyards and both gyms housed various carnival-style games in which participants could win tickets to purchase prizes at the end of the evening.

Autism Fundraisor

During the month of April, IDTC Carmel and IDTC Lafayette sponsored a fund drive for Autism. In Lafayette, the children all worked really hard to supply us with ribbons to sell to make money for this worthy cause. To purchase a ribbon, the children colored, the cost was $1.00. The entire reception area filled up very quickly with ribbons that were sold.

Meet the Teacher Night

T.C. Harris was excited to host the first annual Meet the Teacher Night on August 6, 2009. This event allowed the parents, care givers, and other important people in our students’ lives the opportunity to view the creative projects the students worked on this summer.

Prom 2009:  "Treasure the Night"

IDTC – Lafayette will host the 4th Annual IDTC Prom on May 29, 2009. Themed “Treasure the Night”, the red carpet event will be attended by the residents of the IDTC – Lafayette Campus, the Indianapolis Campus, the Community Living Options Program (both Indy and Lafayette) and Day School students over the age of 14.
