IDTC believes in measuring key performance factors in service delivery and management and operations to ensure overall agency outcomes exceed best practices. IDTC has recently achieved accreditation utilizing the 8th Edition best practice standards from Council on Accreditation (COA).
IDTC stays current on research in the field and provides on going trainings on emerging therapeutic techniques and evidenced based practices. We continuously evaluate the utilization of these practices with our unique population to ensure that each child reaches their maximum potential in the most effective and efficient manner. We attend training seminars to ensure that our treatment techniques are current and implemented consistently to all of our children. We also ensure that the transdisciplinary team that consists of Social Services, Education, Health Services, and Youth Care follow these practices in determining the best course of treatment for each individual child. We remain aware of emerging medicines and medical techniques that may assist a child while utilizing the least amount of medication as possible.
